Wise Grus won two gold and one silver at the competition in Frankfurt
At one of the most prestigious international competitions in the alcoholic beverage industry, the Frankfurt International Spirits Trophy, Wise Grus won not one, but two gold medals and a silver! The gold medals were awarded to Wise Grus Dunja and Lozovača, while Šljivovica received the silver.

7th edition of the Frankfurt International Trophy

These outstanding achievements are proof of the quality and expertise that Wise Grus brings to the production of its brandies. The brandies were tested and evaluated by top experts from around the world, who recognized the quality of Wise Grus’ products.
The 7th edition of the Frankfurt International Competition, where Wise Grus won three significant medals, was held at the historic Palmengarten in Frankfurt from April 14th to 15th, 2023. The event organizer brought together over 500 tasters who evaluated wines, beers, and spirits.
The jury was composed of experts such as sommeliers and oenologists, as well as enlightened amateurs representing the tastes of future consumers. It can therefore be said that the brandies were tested and evaluated by top international experts who recognized the quality of Wise Grus’ products.
During the competition, 4120 wines, beers, and spirits were reviewed, and a total of 1320 samples were awarded medals. Among them, 182 samples received a Grand Gold Medal, 876 samples received a Gold Medal, while 262 samples won a Silver Medal.

From the very beginning of their business, the creators of Wise Grus aimed to present their brandy on foreign markets and make it recognizable far beyond our borders. And with these awards, those goals are already being achieved. Winning prestigious international awards such as these medals at the competition in Frankfurt is a great honor for Wise Grus and Croatian brandy production, as well as recognition for the effort and work invested in producing quality products.
